I tried every combination of screw post and the rubber piece it came with and none of them looked good.  I ended up putting my old stubby antenna back on out of frustration.  Needs to come with better instructions.  (I don't think it had any instructions to be honest)

There was a very large gap between the bottom of the antennae and the base on the car. It was about 1/2 an inch. There are many different screws making it universal but the screw for the MINI is way too long. Too bad because it looks cool.
